The Ananda Maya Ashram

Experience the transformative power of Yoga & Meditation within a monastic community. Where you learn directly from an experienced monk and connect with like-minded individuals in a supportive, grounding environment. Ananda Maya is a place for spiritual expansion, Self-discovery, and inner wisdom.

What is the difference between a stay in the ashram and the retreat?

An ashram stay is for the more sincere spiritual seeker. For you to really deep dive into the meditation practice and realise your highest potential. If you are still looking to find out if meditation is for you, you may prefer one of our retreats where the schedule is more relaxed and the focus is on the basics of meditation, yoga and spirituality.

What can you expect at Ananda Maya?

A day in the ashram is fully packed with practices, classes and discussions to help you evolve on your inner journey. In addition to the daily yoga and meditation practices, you will also learn about karma yoga and how to bring spiritual awareness into your daily activities. In this way, all students can participate in the daily chores.
